These smoky, crispy, and caramelized Brussels sprouts wrapped in bacon make the perfect appetizer or side dish for any BBQ or gathering. Easy to make and packed with flavor!

- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved if large
- 8–10 slices bacon, cut in half
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
- Toothpicks (soaked in water for 10 minutes)
Instructions
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:
- Preheat grill to 375°F (190°C) (or medium heat).
- In a bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
Wrap & Skewer:
- Wrap each Brussels sprout with half a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.
- If using skewers, thread multiple bacon-wrapped sprouts onto them for easier grilling.
Grill the Brussels Sprouts:
- Place them on the grill and cook for 15–20 minutes, turning every 4–5 minutes, until the bacon is crispy and the Brussels sprouts are tender.
- During the last 5 minutes, brush with maple syrup or balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
Serve & Enjoy!
- Remove from the grill and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy hot as an appetizer or side dish!
Notes
- For oven-baked: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Use thin-cut bacon for crispier results.
- Serve with a side of honey mustard or sriracha mayo for dipping!
