⭐ Cheesy tortellini tossed in a rich, homemade Alfredo sauce with crispy bacon—this easy one-pan meal is pure comfort food!
Ingredients
For the Pasta:
- 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup pasta water (if needed to thin sauce)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the Tortellini:
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Bacon:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy (about 5 minutes). Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving about 1 tbsp of bacon grease in the pan.
3️⃣ Make the Alfredo Sauce:
Add butter and minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds.
Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine.
Add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens (about 3 minutes).
4️⃣ Combine Everything:
Add the cooked tortellini and bacon to the sauce, tossing gently to coat.
If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!
Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot!
Notes
- Swap cheese tortellini for spinach or mushroom tortellini for variety.
- Add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
- Lighten it up by using half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
