Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Cinnamon Rolls:

  • 1 package (16.3 oz) refrigerated crescent dough sheets
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (about 8 slices)

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the crescent dough sheets onto a clean surface. Pinch together any seams to form one large sheet of dough.
  • Brush the dough with melted butter. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Carefully roll up the dough into a log, starting from the long edge.
  • Slice the dough into 8 rolls and arrange them in the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  • While the rolls are baking, make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a bowl until smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the hot cinnamon rolls once they’re out of the oven.

  • Serve warm and enjoy the sweet and savory combination!

Notes

  • For a crunchier bacon texture, cook the bacon a little longer to get it extra crispy before crumbling.
  • Feel free to add a pinch of nutmeg or allspice for extra warmth in the filling.

  • These rolls are best served fresh but can be reheated in the microwave for a few seconds to restore softness.
