For the Cinnamon Rolls:
- 1 package (16.3 oz) refrigerated crescent dough sheets
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (about 8 slices)
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- Roll out the crescent dough sheets onto a clean surface. Pinch together any seams to form one large sheet of dough.
- Brush the dough with melted butter. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Carefully roll up the dough into a log, starting from the long edge.
- Slice the dough into 8 rolls and arrange them in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
- While the rolls are baking, make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a bowl until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the hot cinnamon rolls once they’re out of the oven.
- Serve warm and enjoy the sweet and savory combination!
Notes
- For a crunchier bacon texture, cook the bacon a little longer to get it extra crispy before crumbling.
- Feel free to add a pinch of nutmeg or allspice for extra warmth in the filling.
- These rolls are best served fresh but can be reheated in the microwave for a few seconds to restore softness.
