- 1 can (8-count) refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)
- 1 cup apple pie filling, chopped into small pieces
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. (If air frying, preheat to 350°F.)
- Prepare Dough: Flatten each biscuit into a 3-4 inch circle.
- Fill & Seal: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling into the center of each dough round. Pinch the edges together to seal tightly and form a ball.
- Bake or Air Fry:
- Oven: Place seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Air Fryer: Place in a single layer and air fry at 350°F for 8-10 minutes.
- Coat with Cinnamon Sugar: Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Brush warm apple pie bombs with melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve & Enjoy! Best served warm.
Notes
- Drizzle with Caramel: Add a caramel drizzle for extra indulgence.
- Use Puff Pastry: Swap biscuit dough for puff pastry for a flakier texture.
- Make it from Scratch: Use homemade pie dough and fresh cinnamon-spiced apples.
