Description

This Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake is a quick and easy breakfast casserole that combines gooey cinnamon rolls with tender, spiced apples. It’s perfect for brunch, holidays, or a cozy weekend treat. With just a few simple ingredients, you can have a warm, comforting dish ready in no time!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 (12.4 oz) cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls, cut into quarters
  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Icing from cinnamon roll packages

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Prep the cinnamon rolls & apples: Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and place them in a large bowl. Add the diced apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, melted butter, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Toss everything together.
  • Assemble: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with chopped pecans if using.
  • Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. If the top is browning too quickly, loosely cover with foil.
  • Glaze & serve: Drizzle the icing from the cinnamon roll packages over the warm bake. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use Granny Smith apples for a tart contrast or Honeycrisp for extra sweetness.
  • Add raisins or dried cranberries for a festive touch.
  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert!
