Ingredients

Units Scale

Base (Greens for the Wreath):

  • 1 bunch fresh rosemary sprigs (or parsley for a softer look)
  • 1 small bunch fresh thyme (optional, for variety)

Cheese & Meat Selection:

  • 8 oz cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 8 oz mozzarella balls or fresh mozzarella pearls
  • 8 oz salami slices, folded
  • 8 oz prosciutto or pepperoni slices

Extras:

  • 1 cup green olives (stuffed or plain)
  • 1 cup black olives or kalamata olives
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup red grapes (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries or pomegranate seeds (for color)
  • 1/2 cup marinated artichoke hearts (optional)

For Serving:

  • Crackers, breadsticks, or crostini
  • Honey or mustard for dipping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base:

    • Arrange rosemary sprigs in a circle on a large serving platter or round wooden board to create the wreath shape.
    • Layer some thyme or parsley for added texture.
  2. Assemble the Wreath:

    • Evenly distribute the cheese cubes, mozzarella balls, and folded meats around the wreath.
    • Tuck in olives, cherry tomatoes, and grapes between the layers for pops of color.
    • Sprinkle with dried cranberries or pomegranate seeds for a festive touch.
  3. Finishing Touches:

    • Add small dishes of honey, mustard, or dipping sauce nearby.
    • Serve with a side of crackers, breadsticks, or crostini.
  4. Serve & Enjoy:

    • Keep refrigerated until ready to serve, but let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving to allow the cheese to soften.

Notes

  • Make it Vegetarian: Skip the meats and add more veggies like cucumber slices, red bell peppers, and marinated mushrooms.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Personalize it! Swap in your favorite cheeses, meats, and holiday-colored garnishes!
