Description

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these air fryer sweet potato cubes are a quick and healthy side dish. Lightly seasoned and cooked to perfection, they’re great for meal prep, snacking, or pairing with your favorite main course.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Prep the sweet potatoes: Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into 1-inch cubes for even cooking.
  • Season: In a large bowl, toss the cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Preheat air fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Cook: Place the seasoned cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispiness.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispy cubes, soak the sweet potato cubes in cold water for 30 minutes before air frying. Dry thoroughly before seasoning.
  • Adjust seasonings to your taste—try adding cayenne pepper for a spicy kick!
