Description

This air fryer shrimp recipe is quick, healthy, and incredibly flavorful. The shrimp come out perfectly tender with a slightly crispy exterior, making it a great option for a light dinner or an easy appetizer. With just a few ingredients and minimal prep, you’ll have a delicious meal in under 15 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until evenly coated.
  • Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure not to overcrowd them to ensure even cooking.
  • Air fry the shrimp for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time, until they are opaque and cooked through.
  • Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side, if desired.

Notes

  • You can add a bit of spice by sprinkling some red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper with the seasoning.
  • This recipe works well with frozen shrimp too, just add a couple more minutes to the cook time.
  • Serve over salad, pasta, or with a side of rice for a complete meal.
