- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until evenly coated.
- Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure not to overcrowd them to ensure even cooking.
- Air fry the shrimp for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time, until they are opaque and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side, if desired.
Notes
- You can add a bit of spice by sprinkling some red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper with the seasoning.
- This recipe works well with frozen shrimp too, just add a couple more minutes to the cook time.
