Description

Crispy, juicy chicken breasts coated with a flavorful Parmesan and breadcrumb crust, all made effortlessly in the air fryer!


Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/4 cup mayonnaise

Cooking spray or olive oil


Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:

    • Slice each chicken breast in half lengthwise to create thinner cutlets.
    • Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Make the Coating:

    • In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan, panko, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat the Chicken:

    • Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on both sides of each chicken cutlet.
    • Dredge in the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently for an even coating.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer:

    • Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (199°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Cook the Chicken:

    • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
    • Place the chicken in a single layer without overlapping.
    • Cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

 

  • Serve & Enjoy:

    • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
