Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 Oreo cookies
  • Cooking spray or a little melted butter (for greasing)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Batter

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the milk, egg, and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth. The batter should be slightly thick but pourable.

Step 2: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  2. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or melted butter to prevent sticking.

Step 3: Coat the Oreos

  1. Using a fork or tongs, dip each Oreo into the batter, making sure it’s fully coated. Let any excess drip off.
  2. Place the coated Oreos in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.

Step 4: Air Fry

  1. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Let cool for 1-2 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar and enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Thicker Batter Tip: If the batter is too thin, add an extra tablespoon of flour.
  • Extra Crispy: Spray the coated Oreos lightly with cooking spray before air frying.
  • Serving Ideas: Serve with chocolate sauce, caramel, or whipped cream for extra indulgence!
  • Storage: Best eaten fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 day and reheated in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes.
