Description

These Air Fryer Crispy Garlic Roast Potatoes are quick, easy, and full of flavor! With crispy edges and a soft center, they make the perfect side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale

1 1/2 lbs (680g) baby potatoes, halved (or quartered if large)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional, for extra flavor)

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan (optional, for extra crispiness)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the potatoes: Wash and dry the baby potatoes, then cut them into halves or quarters for even cooking.
  • Season: In a bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Air fry: Spread the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispiness.
  • Add Parmesan (Optional): If using, sprinkle grated Parmesan over the potatoes during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.

  • Garnish & serve: Remove from the air fryer, toss with fresh parsley, and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Crispier potatoes: Soak the cut potatoes in water for 15 minutes, then pat dry before seasoning to remove excess starch.
  • Use different potatoes: Yukon Golds or Russets also work well, just cut them into 1-inch pieces.

  • Make it spicy: Add ¼ tsp cayenne pepper or a drizzle of hot sauce
