Description

This Air Fryer Chicken Breast is incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor! With a simple seasoning blend and quick cooking time, you get perfectly cooked chicken every time—without drying it out. It’s a great option for meal prep, salads, sandwiches, or as a main dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (68 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder (optional, for a little spice)
  • Optional Garnish:
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer:
  • Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for about 3–5 minutes.
  • Prepare the Chicken:
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • Rub each breast with olive oil to help the seasoning stick.
  • Season the Chicken:
  • In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and chili powder.
  • Evenly coat both sides of the chicken with the seasoning mix.
  • Air Fry the Chicken:
  • Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 6–8 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Rest & Serve:
  • Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes to keep it juicy.
  • Slice and serve with your favorite sides!

Notes

  • Cooking Time Tip: If your chicken breasts are larger than 8 oz each, add 2–3 extra minutes of cooking time.
  • No Air Fryer? Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Reheating: Warm in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes to keep it crispy.
