Description

This Air Fryer Broccoli is crispy on the edges, tender in the middle, and packed with flavor! It’s a quick and easy side dish that takes less than 10 minutes to cook. Perfect for busy weeknights or when you need a healthy and delicious veggie boost!

Ingredients

  • 1 head of broccoli (about 4 cups florets)

  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

  • 1/2 lemon, for squeezing (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat Air Fryer – Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  • Prepare the Broccoli – Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets and place them in a large bowl.

  • Season – Drizzle olive oil over the broccoli, then sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss to coat evenly.

  • Air Fry – Place the broccoli in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 7-9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the edges are crispy and slightly charred.

  • Finish & Serve – Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

  • Add a drizzle of balsamic glaze for a sweet and tangy twist.

  • Works great with frozen broccoli—just increase cook time by 2-3 minutes.
