- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Wontons:
- 12 wonton wrappers
- 1 small egg (beaten, for sealing)
- Cooking spray or oil for air fryer
For Serving (Optional):
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
- Honey or chocolate drizzle
- Extra blueberries for garnish
Instructions
- Make the filling: In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth. Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Assemble the wontons: Lay out a wonton wrapper and place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center. Brush the edges with the beaten egg and fold into a triangle (or bring all corners together for a purse shape). Press to seal.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up for a few minutes.
- Air fry the wontons: Lightly spray the wontons with oil and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve and enjoy: Let the wontons cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with honey or chocolate if desired. Serve warm!
Notes
- If using frozen blueberries, thaw and drain them first to avoid extra moisture.
- Seal the wontons well to prevent filling from leaking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to crisp them up again.
