Description

These crispy, golden wontons are filled with a sweet and tangy blueberry cheesecake filling, then air-fried to perfection. A quick and easy dessert or snack that’s perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Filling:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Wontons:

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 small egg (beaten, for sealing)
  • Cooking spray or oil for air fryer

For Serving (Optional):

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Honey or chocolate drizzle
  • Extra blueberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Make the filling: In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  • Assemble the wontons: Lay out a wonton wrapper and place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center. Brush the edges with the beaten egg and fold into a triangle (or bring all corners together for a purse shape). Press to seal.
  • Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up for a few minutes.
  • Air fry the wontons: Lightly spray the wontons with oil and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  • Serve and enjoy: Let the wontons cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with honey or chocolate if desired. Serve warm!

Notes

  • If using frozen blueberries, thaw and drain them first to avoid extra moisture.
  • Seal the wontons well to prevent filling from leaking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to crisp them up again.
