- 1 (12 oz) bag herb-seasoned stuffing mix (or 8 cups dried bread cubes)
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup (or cream of celery for a vegetarian option)
- 2 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 small onion, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon onion powder)
Instructions
- Prepare the Slow Cooker:
- Grease the inside of your slow cooker (4–6 quart size) with butter or nonstick spray.
- Mix the Dressing:
- In a large bowl, combine stuffing mix, chopped onion, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Stir until well combined.
- Cook the Dressing:
- Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker and spread evenly.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Fluff & Serve:
- Once the dressing is soft and moist, fluff it with a fork and serve warm!
Notes
- Make it More Flavorful: Add 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning or sage for extra depth.
- Add-Ins: Stir in cooked celery, sausage, or cranberries for more texture and taste.
