This super easy 5-ingredient BBQ chicken recipe is perfect for busy weeknights. Toss everything in the slow cooker and let it do all the work! The chicken turns out juicy, tender, and full of smoky-sweet barbecue flavor. Great for sandwiches, salads, or served with your favorite sides.
Ingredients

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)

1/4 cup honey or brown sugar

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions

Place chicken thighs in the bottom of your slow cooker.

In a small bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, honey (or brown sugar), apple cider vinegar, and garlic powder.

Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated.

Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.

Shred the chicken with two forks right in the slow cooker or serve whole with sauce spooned over the top.

You can use bone-in thighs, but be sure to remove bones before serving if shredding.

Add a pinch of chili flakes for a little kick.
